Purpose and Goals of the 4_^th Day

We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me.

Colossians 1:28-29

TO WHAT END?

The goal of 4^th Day is for each person to return to their various environments and there serve to reform those environments after the Kingdom of God seeking to make every relationship, every situation, every experience an occasion for the manifestation of God’s Kingdom.

The 4^th Day helps provide necessary support for a Pilgrimage-Cursillo weekend, but through that weekend support, our purpose is to cast the vision that each person, when immersed in a community experience of true Christian living, when touched in heart and mind by the power and grace of God, will experience a conversion to a more vital life in Christ and that more vital life in Christ, while practiced during the weekend will be carried out more intentionally within the ongoing life of the church.
 
Goals for 4^th Day development:

• Renew and reconcile our environment to God
• Edify members via Christ so they edify their environments
• Involve the greatest number of 4^th Day
• Identify leaders
• Instruct in the deeper theological basis of the movement
